Welcome to The PFFA Together We Grow Community Initiative,

A vibrant community initiative uniting neighbours, friends, families and locals in the powerful act of growing food in teams. We are cultivating more than just vegetables — we're growing communities, personal connections, sustainability, and food independence.

What We're Doing

Throughout the UK, local teams of 2 or more people are learning to grow, harvest and distribute their own food. Expert guidance is given in monthly online workshops as well as via interim online support. Each team is turning their gardens or shared spaces into thriving food growing spaces.

This journey doesn’t end with a harvest. Our long-term mission is to support people through the process of creating lasting Community Gardens which will benefit their local communities.

Why the Project Matters

It is a meaningful step towards creating the following:

• Strong community bonds
• A platform for education with others rather than in isolation
• An increased connection to nature
• Food resilience and food independence
• Access to good quality, nutrient dense, chemical free food
• Access to thriving, biodiverse green spaces for shared wellbeing and enjoyment

How it works

How it works

STEP 1 Form a Team: Create a team of 2 or more people from your local community.

STEP 2 Decide where you want to set up: Find a piece of land on which to grow food, no matter how big or small.

STEP 3 Join our project: Apply to us, then start growing food with your team in your chosen space, experiment with crops, and share your progress with us and the other teams.

STEP 4 Get Trained: Learn from us through workshops and other tailor made online support.

STEP 5 Build the Future for your Community: Think about creating a Community Garden in your local area. If you have already created one, but want more support, you are also welcome to join.

Join the Project

Whether you're a seasoned grower or just starting out, there’s a place for you here. This is about more than gardening — it’s about empowering communities, reconnecting with people and nature, and planting seeds for a better future.
